JS Engineering BVBA was founded in 2010 by Jörge Segers as a technical consultancy company to the motorsport industry. Additionally, JS Engineering is the Belgian distributor for Race Technology data acquisition products for road racing and rallying and European distributor for Chassissim laptime simulation software and Texense sensors.
In 2010 JS Engineering was hired by MadCroc Racing to engineer a car in the FIA GT1 World Championship and by DKR Engineering for the French GT3 Championship. Other projects included the 24 Hours of Zolder (victory with First Motorsport) and 24 Hours of Nurburgring (as technical consultant for ADAC).
The company also provides formation in applied data acquisition to the motorsport industry in the form of seminars. The Society of Automotive Engineers yearly organises a 2-day seminar about racecar data acquisition of which further details can be found on this website. Alternatively, tailored programs can be put together for companies. In November 2010 JS Engineering hosted a 4-day in-house seminar for Porsche Brasil in Sao Paolo.
